Starting with a thriving second-hand bookstore (The Little Bookshop) in the picturesque coastal town of Napier, New Zealand, the idea of an online store was initially discussed during our humble beginnings.
With the shift towards online platforms gaining momentum, especially in recent years, we found ourselves busier than ever. As our physical storerooms reached maximum capacity, the decision to launch BookTrader.co.nz became inevitable.
BookNook Limited has established a strong online presence with BookTrader.co.nz as our primary platform.
Why BookTrader.co.nz?
Our initial website was a basic online store created in 2003. The site, magicacorn.co.nz, experienced some success but faced challenges with search engine performance. To better align with our offerings, we transitioned to BookTrader.co.nz. This evolution transformed it from a book store to an auction platform for books, and back to what we have today.
Our vast inventory boasts several hundred thousand titles, with only a fraction currently showcased on our website.
