Camino Ghosts is a 2024 thriller by John Grisham and the third book in the Camino Island series. It revisits novelist Mercer Mann and bookseller Bruce Cable as they get involved in a legal battle over a mysterious, historically significant island off the coast of Florida. The novel blends Grisham's legal drama with elements of historical fiction and the supernatural.

Plot summary
Mercer Mann, having married her boyfriend Thomas, is struggling to find a subject for her next book. Bruce Cable, her friend and mentor, offers a compelling idea based on a story from one of his customers. The subject of the story is Dark Isle, a small barrier island with a dark, haunted history. For centuries, locals have believed the island is cursed, and a series of drownings, disappearances, and hauntings have occurred there. The island was originally settled by formerly enslaved people, whose descendants lived there for 300 years until the last family was forced off in 1955. Lovely Jackson, the last living descendant, now in her eighties, claims to be the island's rightful owner and is its sole protector. Lovely has even self-published a memoir documenting her ancestors' history on the island. However, the unscrupulous corporate developer Tidal Breeze wants to build a resort and casino on Dark Isle and is using its immense resources to acquire it.
